Agree. Grossly out of date, yet featured on the home page.

I posted on the Swagbucks forum that I had won 7SB for searching for topcashback but said it was a dreadful site I only use for the daily click.

One person replied: my son uses topcash back and he loves it, he tells me how much he makes and he is doing well. I joined a while ago and 3 months ago I bought a new laptop and used my card but it wasn't tracked. I complained, gave the purchase details and am still waiting.I wont use it anymore.

I have sent them a DM on Facebook saying that at imutual he would have got his money if he had bought the item via it.

But that post proves that TopCashBack support is dreadful. I have had great support from imutual when I had a problem.

All sites have their ups and downs.

Customer service in some is atrocious

A couple I belong to are extremely poor bad payers. Especially so since you have to wait till you have a £25 balance for cashout and then wait 30 or more working days for payment.

imutuals customer service in my opinion is patchy. But normally better than most.

Enhancements/improvements here are promised but not very often forthcoming in my opinion.

Imutual has a great selling point in the forum. I think it is great. Extremely diverse and usually very interesting.

TopCashBack closed their forum. Fact.

Heard that the support is poor. May or may not be a Fact.

Encourage us to donate to staff when we cash out instead of paying them the proper salaries presumably. First part is a Fact, the second is supposition on my part so not a Fact but could be a Fact

In the interests of fairness/forum discussion balance, here is TCB response.

I know from experience that TCB refused to add Money Vista until the rate came down to 5.00 on the grounds the amount of Cashback offered was too high for a signup and thus open to abuse, TCB could have added it at a higher rate and kept some of the Cashback as was done during certain periods of promotion of it on MSE by Imutual.

TCB do pass on all the Cashback ( Including "no spend offers" ) excluding bonuses that it receives from the Networks unless a merchant(s) specifically states a Cashback limit that can be paid to the end user ( Cashback Site member) as has been the case with Scottish Friendly, might not be what those who appear to get apparent pleasure from having ongoing pops/digs/negatives at TCB and Quidco want to hear, that is how it is, matter of fact.

I believe that TopCashback use non cashback paying adverts for the running of the company.

Does 100% just mean 100% of what is promoted?
I believe Topcashback rates have dropped a little, certainly less than both imutual and Getpoundsback, although they will match and add top up (1% or 5%). Perhaps the rates have dropped to pay for the top ups? Some gullible ones would lose out I suppose?
Surely not? Are you suggesting that sites might be less than honest? :wtf:

I'm sure they pass on all the earnings, minus the costs for overheads, advertising, site redesigns, profits, sunday lunch, etc., etc. :shifty:

There's little that attracts me to the big 2 these days, I keep my eye on them, but my first port of call is imutual - not just for the amount paid, but because it is far more interactive.... and responsive.

Unfortunately, there are many "gullible ones" - but even more who still don't use a cashback site at all.
