Restrict font size in signatures?

Further to the discussion on a forum signature policy here.....

Let's have a poll on whether text in signatures should be restricted to standard font size

I vote yes but I will miss a couple of the really big ones.

But there is a way to put a word e.g. iMutual in and that links to a full description. That to me is the best sig because I could put in several sites like abc and def and ghi etc but only take up a line.

No idea how this is done as I am useless at that sort of thing.
