How do I earn cashback and shares?

You can earn rewards, in the form of cashback and/or shares in imutual PLC, by using our links to visit your favourite websites and make qualifying transactions. Here are some examples of the kinds of transactions you can get rewarded for:

- Earn X% cashback and Y shares per £10 spent when you make a purchase at Tesco.com
- Earn £X cashback and Y shares when you switch your electricity supply to E.on
- Earn Xp cashback when you register for free at Consumer Surveys
- Earn £X cashback and Y shares when you take a 30 day free trial at Lovefilm

So how does this all work? We have commercial arrangements with over 1000 of the top UK companies, who will pay us a commission when someone clicks through our link to visit their website and make a purchase. We pass that money back to you in the form of cashback, AND in many cases we will also reward you with free shares in imutual PLC.

So just for using the links here to visit online retailers (instead of going directly to their website), you can get free cashback AND shares in a PLC. No catch whatsoever! You make your purchase in exactly the same way as usual and pay the same price.

Your transaction will appear on your imutual account within 14 days - sometimes longer but 90% of transactions actually appear within 24 hours. It will have a status a pending, and will change to awarded once we receive validation and payment from the merchant. This normally takes 60-90 days and at this point, any shares will be assigned to you and you will be able to request payment of your cashback.
