Also halifax

Halifax are cutting rewards?

These accounts currently give you a £5 monthly reward (£60/yr) if you stay in credit, pay in at least £750/mth and have at least two direct debits leaving your account.
This reward will fall to £3/mth (£36/yr) on 1 February 2017.

that's a shame re. TSB.. from 5% on £2k down to 3% on 1.5k :problem:
they are not out of the market with the reduced rate, but if there is something appealing elsewhere, such as an incentive to move, i'll be off.. as they are lowering the interest at roughly the same stage as my contactless cashback will dry up

Where to move though? Might as well invest in one of Kevs greyhounds with the rates on offer at moment.

Hopefully my stock of Marmite might soon count as an investment.

good question Luke.. at the moment, i'm not sure, but the point is that the account is ready to be used as a sacrificial lamb, with DDs in place, ready for an opportunity

but you seemingly referred to it dropping, but the cashback disappears altogether, rather than dropping, doesn't it?
you meant the interest, right?
