Well done! Now tell us how you did it:......................
bought
2 jars asparagus reduced from £2.65 = £5.30 to 20p each = 0.40
I newspaper 30p
2 tuna mayo sandwich fillers £2 each or 2 for £3
2 jars sweet and sour sauce 35p each = 0.70
3 chocolate Advent calendars £1 each = £3

Total value £5.30 + 0.30 + £4 + 0.70 + 3.00 = £13.30

Receipt was for £0.40 + 0.30 + £3 + 0.70 + 3.00 = £7.40

coupons used £4.30
I newspaper 0.30
2 tuna mayo sandwich fillers 2 x £2 = £4

so balance to pay was £3.10

then scanned receipt to TCB and got £3 cashback for the 3 advent calendars

so total cost to me was 10p

ps also got 2 Dr Oetker Pizzas from Asda for £0.00 ( they are £1.50 each at the moment and you can get £1.50 coupons using the code inside certain boxes)
Brilliant!

Has Raich got a different job? With savings like that she does not need a 2nd job  If only that could be said for all. I heard a lady on the radio with two jobs and trying to study for a degree. Works at a supermarket but low hours, cannot always take the overtime offered and had to turn down the management offer as well. She is a single Mum and the hours would mean she has to have a 2nd job so that she can arrange for (paid) childcare. If you suddenly need extra childcare it is not always easy to arrange. And she wanted to actually see her child every day.
