I am a little confused by the statement "the above two positions were decided using shares held by those who thanked: 41531 and 40312 respectively."richard@imutual wrote:I'm pleased to announce that the winners of the Post-of-the-month competition for February 2016, as determined by ratings by our members, are:
Winner (100 shares): Ccashbacklover for the post in the topic Apna Cashback with 9 thanks
Runner-up (25 shares): bobster007 for the post in the topic Re: Swagbucks - I've had my first £5 Amazon Voucher! with 5 thanks
3rd place (10 shares): blythburgh for the post in the topic How tardy can Kev get? with 5 thanks
Having received the same number of thanks, the above two positions were decided using shares held by those who thanked: 41531 and 40312 respectively.
Considering that most of the members that vote probably have more than 10,000 shares then the tie break will be decided by newer members. Wouldn't it now be wise to increase the cap to 20,000 or even 30,000 ?richard@imutual wrote:The results are correct.
Some 'old hands' may recall that when "shares held by those thanking" is used, it's capped at 10000 shares per person (to avoid one or two "big" shareholders dominating the decisions).
