Afternoon!

Post by mike330ci » Wed Nov 23 2016 11:10am

Good afternoon, quick question is there any legalities to becoming a shareholder on here? not one for signing up for anything that could be a problem in 10 years etc?

Welcome there are only advantages and no disadvantages to being a shareholder.

1) you can do an 8p a day search at the moment from the link in the shareholders section

2) you get free shares and maybe, but maybe not, the shares will be worth real money one day

3) (not restricted to shareholders) a great forum full of knowledgeable people who remember being confused newbies and are only to happy to help answer any questions

Member since it started, I am not aware of any. No guarantee the shares will be worth anything ever. But no losses, as money is being made along the way.

No liabilities for us shareholders.

The outside possibility of shares being worth something if and when sold.

Welcome, Mike

Hopefully, this will reassure you - Are there any downsides to having shares? Am I liable for company debts?

Welcome to the forums

No negatives to being a shareholder
positives are your thanks count for more ( up to a max of 10,000 shares ) for the POTM , and you get access to the shareholders forum

Hi Mike and welcome.

We're all pretty cautious here, but I think your concern strays into the "Looking a gift-horse in the mouth" zone!

As has been said, the "shares" are real, but currently have no monetary value. If they ever do attract a value, that will be a bonus, but the real value of imutual is the cashback level given, the cashback guarantee combined with a management team who actually will investigate issues and a forum where, if all else fails, you can appeal to the good nature of the other shareholders. Go see who else offers that combination!
Just because I'm paranoid, it doesn't mean they're not out to get me
