Daily Mail commits to absolute impartiality on any pro-Thatcher, anti-immigrant, pro-Brexit reporting "We support the government to do whatever we tell it" says Viscount Rothermere. ;)

If a section of the media tells it like it is rather than the politician wants it said then they always get accused of bias. So often the politicos of the left and the right accuse the beeb of bias over the same thing.

Everyone accuses the BBC of bias. Both left and right of the political spectrum. I take that to mean the BBC is about right.

The Daily Mail, on the other hand...

Everyone but the Mail readers think they are biased, lie or at the very least twist the truth. As someone from Grenfell Towers area said they were disgusted by the media coverage even The Guardian but would be happy to talk to the Beeb but definitely not the rest.

Pro-Thatcher?

I think you'll find she's dead.

Time to move on, I would say. :)

I think you'll find they're trying to put up a statue outside Parliament. I'd happily forget her, but it seems her DNA still runs through the Tory party.

For many years the Tory's worshipped at the alter of Churchill now it is Thatcher and the members want all their MP's to be in the Thatcherite mould.

Thankfully there are still some wets about.

But most worrying is there is a move afoot to make an MP who still lives in the 19th Century (not literally obviously) as the next PM. Yes the awful Jacob Rees Mogg has not getting a following. Just goes to show what hanging around in the chance a passing Journallist or better still a TV one with a camera team will want to talk to him can do for you. Thankfully some MP's actually spend time in the House of Commons, Committee's or in their office. You know doing their proper job instead of chasing publicity for themselves.

Still not sure who he is: https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/3933470/j ... -de-chair/

Got the page thanks to Google and thought it was the Mail as they were loving the man or maybe the Express
