Can you have a look at having adverts?
FPL do pretty well out of it
Similar suggestion:
If any member knows a really easy way to credit payments with some kind of alt coin rather than paypal and the rest, that would appeal to a group of potential new members and possibly reduce costs, compared to paying by paypal or bacs. Obviously there would be a hassle and software setup cost that someone would have to overcome.

I am no great expert and not sure how to say more, but I think doge coin for example has quite low transaction costs and people like it because it has a picture of a dog on it. It can be converted to bitcoin or probably pounds.

Just a thought

And if cryptocurrenies cease to exist imutual will be in the news with bad publicity.

(Some would argue there is no such things as bad publicity.)

Oh yes there is, just ask Gerald Ratner. Or in his case a joke that had previously gone unnoticed by the outside world became public and that meant his career collapsed spectacularly.
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler

By the law of averages, the greater the money invested the better the return on investment.

Surely the answer is simple; it's back to basics here: Get more members, they make more purchases using the site, more cash is generated to improve the site (which it needs alongside a mobile friendly version) making it easier and more attractive for us all to make purchases from the site which generates more money... It's all about reaching that take-off point. It could be achieved quicker with an injection of cash but be careful what you wish for...!
