I doubt that rivalry is anywhere different and only just as intense as Norwich v Ipswich
Oh I don't know.

'Neil Warnock and Cardiff City are the Antichrist of football'

Get that sort of thing in Ipswich? :)
Dunno, only live in Suffolk but like most of this end this household supports Norwich and shop there as well. Ipswich is a foreign land.
.
Born and bred in Cardiff. So the Bluebirds are my team. But I've spent most of my life in Bristol. They really do hate each other. Probably the Welsh v English thing doesn't help. Cardiff vs Rovers is pretty similar,

I find the Welsh/English thing so sad. We are all British after all, we should be proud of where we come from and cheer if, in your case, Wales beat England at anything. But we should all be cheering Wales, England etc when they are playing a truly foreign country.

Maybe the fact though sort of adopted, I know I am half Cornish and half English is the reason I call myself British.

'im indoors is an East Anglian first and English/British second

Viva España!

1-2. Result!

Better than Scotland, mind you. Only a friendly, but getting stuffed 4-0 at home is embarrassing. Their biggest defeat for yonks. Didn't England put 9 past them sometime in the 60s? I think the Scottish goalkeeper on the day was so mortified he emigrated to Australia, :)

Yes, but the English are Germanic Europeans. Barbarians outwith the Empire.

I always go with the civilised Europeans. :)

Constantine, sorry about the Wales result, was hoping I could cheer the result of at least one of the home teams this weekend

Me and Constantine are happy so far. And Boro have not stuffed the Canary but I fear it is only a matter of time. But the joy of footie is you never can tell.

We've really splashed out and bought a striker from Bristol City for £10m and some guy called Josh Murphy from Norwich for £11m, Is he any good? Apparently we couldn't afford Bale. :)

Success is going to be scraping together enough points to avoid relegation. And not getting stuffed 5-0 by the likes of Man City.

Only 5:0... :eh:
Yup. Exactly 5-0. :)
