Planes flying over. 'im indoors tells me what they are. "yeah a lump of metal flying overhead." DH "they are defending your country." Me "a lump of metal defending my country".

Same as "ooh look that is a Ferrairi" "Yeah, a lump of metal that goes from a to b just like my (Nissan) Micra :lol:

And I have seen a Ferrari in Southwold. And lots of Jags and Range Rovers with 20 and 21 number plates driven by people who look like pensioners. But not to worry they will not be affected by the increase in National Insurance unlike the workers who will pay more even if they do not earn enough to pay income tax. Gotta love the way this Tory Govt cares about the poorest in our country

And talking about the poorest reminds me that the older pensioners get a lot less full state pension than those who are younger. And it is the oldest on the lower state pension that are far less likely to have a works pension.

Live where I do and have to put up with Apache helicopters flying low over the house to practice their low-level flying. :roll

I'm sure it'll come in handy........
