I would love the current state of affairs because it means the Tories have no chance of winnning the next election. But although we do not rent, have a mortgage or any debt many millions do and they are the ones currently suffering. And baby Emily in our church, born this summer will be paying off the debt MisTruss has got the country into until she is 30 years of age. How can any of this be fair?
Know they might break Boris' promise to raise benefits in line with inflation. Even the FT says hitting the poorest does not make sense.
Go get a job!!!! Some would but the money does not cover child care costs. Some would but like a friend in the 1980's/1990's "you are great but you have a degree so you will leave as soon as you can get a job you are qualified for." Or in one case get to the interview stage with 3 others. Doing a job you have done before, only one there with experience and the right qualifications. One person got the job, one got part time job and one got a promise they would get a job when one came up in the near future. Only the one qualified to do the job missed out because she would have had to be paid more. So the students at the college were the ones who were shortchanged as well as another kick in the teeth for my friend.
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
