Antibiotics when prescribed always state "complete the course" There is a risk of reinfection if you don't.
Even doctors ignore that now . Recently my wife was prescibed 4 days of antibiotics for an infection , on reading the enclosed leaflet it said it was a 14 day course and you must complete it , phoned the doctor again who said we will retest for the infection after 4 days and see if you need any further medication . Took a further 4 days to get test results which were still positive , and then had to go back on different antibiotics .

jeremy Hunt's statement now reducuing the period of the energy "guarantee"
In August I took out a 2 year fixed deal which in September turned out to be about 5% higher than the energy guarantee . I managed to cancel the fixed deal but if price guarantee goes up by more than 5% next April it will now cost me more than the deal I cancelled.

An ambitious Tory called Hunt
Was always a useless c......andidate.
Now he's shafted Liz Truss,
Thrown her under a bus
Giving leadership one final punt!

The sad thing is, we will pay for the security of Truss for the rest of her life, plus she'll get an enhanced pension and other benefits..... and WE PAY.
If Sunak "steps in", the same applies.

Maybe they can rotate the premiership sufficiently to give all the Tory grandees a chance to get their snouts (deeper) into the trough.

At least Liz Truss has answered the question of whether Boris is the worst PM we've had.

However, it looks like the Tories have been finding increasingly bad leaders since Cameron, so perhaps she won't hold the record for long.

Just to make you feel "better" Good old Kwaz will be getting around £16,000 severance, for doing such a stellar job. God knows what Queen Liz will get If Jerry decides to take the title from her, but it's 3 months of her present salary.

Plus a ministerial pension, etc.

Troughs abound!

Cruella out! I lke some comments to the resignation letter on her twitter feed...https://twitter.com/SuellaBraverman/sta ... 28/photo/1

"Dreams do come true. Not yours, but all those people who've dreamt of your political demise. We don't need hateful, malicious sycophants like you. You deplorable human. It's delightful that you've fallen on your own cruel sword."

"I can honestly say you’ve come across as one of the least compassionate people in Government, Suella Braverman. Your attitude towards those less fortunate has been painful to see, so I’m relieved you’ve resigned. I hope you use your time to become a better soul. Karma!"

and of course

"Tofu Korma"

But Shapps as Home secretary .... really?

The snouts-in-the-trough cycling of ministerial posts goes on.... at our expense.

What is happening in national politics is not like a soap opera. No soap opera would ever have such a storyline
