Christine McVie, born Christine perfect, of Chicken Shack and Fleetwood Mac, has died in hospital at the age of 79. A life-force gone....

Heartbreaking news, at least she is not one of the "gone far, far too young" but still gone to young

Yes - and the programmes on BBC4 last night pointed out her value as a songwriter as much as as a musician...... and the part she played in re-forming Fleetwood Mac after the loss of Peter Green
