Ian Lavender, Private Pike in the series, has died at the age of 77. He was the last surviving cast member.

Such sad news. I loved the comment older cast members shared their secrets with him and he was planning to take those secrets to the grave. Now we will never know the secrets and that is how it should be. Shows what a decent man he was.
