Hi

I would be interested in joining, but my imutual transactions only just make £10 pm.
My wife is a member also but doesn't come close to the £10pm discussed.

If there's a facility to add by StandingOrder/Direct Debit then she may be interested.

regards

Hi,
This is something we would all need to discuss I think. I'm not sure Rich wants standing orders paying in - but it doesn't necessarily mean the minimum will be £10 a month either, so in that sense it would not be right to rule yourself or your wife out :)

Great, thanks for all the offers of interest and help :)

May I suggest that, if only for the purpose of getting things off the ground, the three initial officers should be myself, Garindan and Alec3270. This is purely because we live fairly close to each other so it will make all the initial form filling + admin easier :?

We can then hold "elections" once the club is formed and additional members have been added :)

OK, so I'm up for that. What would be extremely useful is to hear about any resources we can take a look at when putting all the initial stuff together for the investment club. We've got the Proshare manual already. We've identified what seems to be a suitable share trading platform where we can add/remove members without too great an overhead. If anyone has any recommendations, hopefully from experience, of a bank account that would be suitable or some good existing club rules we can look at borrowing bits from it would be great. Perhaps you could send me a PM. Any information is potentially good
