Re: SunLife Over 50s Plan £110 Offer

Cheapest policy it offered me is £7/month but still a decent profit.

Re: Funds not received into bank account

If you cancel, you definitely won't get the payment; if you don't cancel, you might get it. The site owner seems to be too busy to provide any customer service - or he has lost interest. To his credit, a lot of things seem to be set up to work without intervention, but when they fail, it takes a whi...

Re: Funds not received into bank account

The site owner (and occasionally his wife) are the only people involved in the management and operations. He is too busy with other work and/or has lost interest in Imutual.

Re: Funds not received into bank account

+1 to BeachBoy's comments

Threads on hukd about Quidco promotions invariably attract a lot of critical comments - far more than TCB.

Quidco do also seem to be much more aggressive about what they see as abuse.

Whilst I do sympathise, if the first payment was not received, was it perhaps a tad unwise to make a second payment request?

Re: 2022 accounts and notice of AGM

The financial statements at the link above are not consistent with those filed at Companies House. Specifically creditors and net assets differ by £754.

Do we not get the required 14 days notice?
Companies Act s307 (1) requires a minimum notice period of 14 days.
But that can be disapplied if shareholders with >90% consent. And since Richard holds 99.2% of the shares, he can effectively do as he wishes.

you can ask questions at any time during the year using our forum

If you have any questions on the accounts, no need to wait until the AGM - ask away!
Asking questions isn't the same thing as getting answers, though.

Re: Building Society Bosses noses in trough....again

Remuneration of the chief executive of Starling would put them at number three in the table, just above Coventry BS. On the basis of total assets, Coventry is more than 5 times larger than Starling. Just saying.

Re: 2022 accounts and notice of AGM

Given the failure to issue proxy notices in time, I suggest the AGM should be rescheduled to allow all members opportunity to vote.
