Re: Travel Supermarket has banned me

I am confused by the 3 limit. 2 would make sense and 4 would be better for those who are on cable or do not want to reset the modem but have 2 members in the home The 3 limit is the max "visits" per day per IP address , but on 1 visit you can do both searches for 1 category (2 Car Hire , or 2 Holid...

Strange that people thank a post and then remove it a couple of weeks later

On several occasions, I have noticed that a particular family who seem to have many accounts between them on here thank my posts and then the thanks are removed a few days later. Can anyone think of a reason for this? Does any one see the point? Why bother thanking the post in the first place? Stran...

As for waste.... Most large organisations waste money - or at least spend it inefficiently. But it's often difficult to identify waste at the time or to address the waste. "Reduce waste" is a glib answer that doesn't actually help. But let's consider a couple of things - administrators. Some section...

Re: Jaja - Mobile Credit Card

Agree with Constantine. Credit cards are a pretty standard product that it's hard to do much with. The provider has to join MasterCard or Visa and the interchange fees are capped. The speed at which transactions show on the customer account is as much driven by the retailer as the other parties alon...

Re: Jaja - Mobile Credit Card

I don't think that nobody wouldn't have bothered if it's not for the referral payment. Things are changing and even traditional banks are workings on their apps to keep up. I agree that maybe this is what millenials want - fast, easy, convenience, more control-- because I'm close to being a millenia...

Re: 40 stores to close... (part 3)

Without wishing to appear nit-picking, the linked article refers to growth in profits but says nothing about their bank balances. Growing businesses can be profitable but go under because of lack of cash (probably not the case here). The trouble can be that the cash is tied up in stock, in receivab...

Re: Apple Card

All those things are true, and indeed very little consumer credit is secured. I also didn't mention that credit card borrowing is convenient (once I have a card, I can spend up to the limit without having to apply for a new loan each time) and flexible (I could spend £1000 today and repay it next we...
