I have cast vote for Clinigen as I understand the pharma industry (although we may have missed the boat), but as a general rule I dont invest in real estate (as its a volatile market) , you can make and lose a fortune in a day and service companies (Mitie) are going bust left right and centre. Just an idea for picking shares.... As we are not experts - perhaps it would be useful if each member did a weekly post of the shares 'tipped' in their newspaper and magazine of choice. I personally hold lots of Lloyds as a long term strategy (10+ years) but if the plan was short term to make a profit quickly then we need to stick to the plan.
