The other point that the OP made 'Saving The Planet is about to cost you money' Err...yeah but it always has No one would spend £15,000 on solar panels without the feed in tariffs Who do you think pays for all home to have their Loft insulation upgraded? Recycling schemes aren't really cost effectiv...

Polarization of British politics has done nothing to advance things..... Do you remember the days when we all sit around complaining that there was little to choose between the 2 main parties because they were both pretty much in the centre? They say if you're unlucky you get wht you wish for :(
