As someone who runs many domain names for others and has default handling on all the domain name emails (nothing escapes however the address is splelt) I check all my spam (about 200 a day BTW) very carefully.

Nothing ever arrived which, with the fact it allowed me to re-register with the same email makes me think something went wrong their end.
