93 year old dear friend and neighbour has a weeping place on her leg. Silver dressings were eventually used (very expensive) and a lot less pain and could be left on a week. Now they do not work and the thick bandage is wet within hours but nurses only come every 2 days. Left for 4 days and she had to insist they come in on phone as pain where she does not normally have it. Will try they say and turn up at lunch time the following day. Nurse says "I am shocked" and now they think there might be an infection. So more antibiotics and we can only hope they check to see which of the very few she is not allergic to.
And, yes, sleety rain as we walked to the cemetary which turned to wet snow. Thankfully not heavy and only a shower.
Why can't people have the decency to die in the summer when it is at least warm?????
