I was nearly conned

So I was conducting this conversation with macliam on FB. Saw his photo and found out he is tall, dark and very handsome. Eventually he phoned me, what a delightful Irish lilt to his accent.

I invited him to stay with us and said I would go to the Emmerdale Farm Shop in Darsham as they sell Red Poll beef which is absolutely delicious.

His reply was that he was doing happily doing Veganuary so would not be eating meat.

At that point I realised it was Mackem pretending to be macliam so blew a raspberry and put the phone down.

That is very unfair. blythburgh does make some very silly posts. But often raises issues which many of us appreciate being made aware of. Below that idiosyncrasy is a wealth of common sense and wisdom. You just have to take your time to understand and get to it.

I just saw this and almost choked on my kale and spinach smoothie..........

Really? Veganuary sound like something I'd have to confess  and not eating meat for a month would require a coma.....

(PS, the rest of burgers description is so accurate, it doesn't need further comment :shifty: )

Not sure how you confuse M+M
Isn't Mackem like 2 feet taller than macliam?
Everyone else is

I thought it was macliam due to the lovely Irish lilt in the voice. I knew it was Makem when he said how much he was enjoying going meat and dairy free.

You would've thought she'd have known when the operator asked if she'd accept a reverse charges call

You are assuming I do not do that on a regular basis to all my friends ;)
