If anyone is interested, I have this list of things it can be used for. I can vouch for a few, but obviously I've not tried all of them!

List of Uses
Rooting agent - spray a little on cuttings before planting.
Removes stains from stainless steel sinks.
Removes dirt and grime from the barbecue grill.
Keeps glass shower doors free of water spots.
Keeps bathroom mirror from fogging.
Keeps scissors working smoothly.
Lubricates tracks in sticking sliding windows and makes them easier to open.
Removes splattered grease on stove.
Snails in your garden? Spray some WD-40 on the exterior of your pots and the snails will steer clear of them!
Removes all traces of duct tape or stickers.
Protects silver from tarnishing.
It removes black scuff marks from the kitchen floor! It doesn't seem to harm the finish, and you won't have to scrub nearly as hard to get them off. ** Note: It does make the floor slippery, so make sure to remove ALL WD, as a nasty fall could result. Just remember to open windows if you have a lot of marks.
Waterproofing your shoes? Spray them with WD-40!
If you’ve spilled coffee or tea on your carpet, spray this miracle substance on the stain. Let it soak for two minutes and you can easily remove the stain with carpet cleaner!
