Yes I'm in the same boat. Err... train. So it will certainly be within walking distance of the central stations

Or the centre where they have the car show et al. There is a railway link to it as I went with my husband and a friend to a motor cycle show once many moons ago. No I idea why I wanted to go or 'im indoors either come to that.

My younger brother and his wife would have loved it, they have Harleys. But they live in Oz. TIp: do not have children and you can afford a Harley each. Sadlyl it was not for want of trying they are childless, did everything possible with no success. They would have made fantastic parents but go to nearby Great Yarmouth and you see children pushing their babies in a pushchair. If on solids the child will be eating chips. Barely old enough to look after themselves and they are parents. Life can be so unfair. :(

Mmm, I had overlooked the FA cup final. I'm not personally bothered (in fact, it probably means a pub that wasn't showing it on TV would be nice and quiet!), but would this put anyone off who would otherwise come along?

The NEC. A bit out of the way for those who aren't coming in from the Coventry / London direction. Plus there aren't any decent pubs for meeting up, really

Its going to be difficult to find a pub where the cup match isnt being shown. I can see us meeting somewhere then moving to a quieter spot.

I would have thought Weatherspoons would have been showing the match.

Is next to snowhill station, but might be a bit small

Or theres the Old Joint and Stock pub in temple row, which is bigger.
