Re: cbl's suggestion of launching a 50% site. This is a good idea as a tactical move that can help (at least in the short term) to boost imutual profits. Realistically, this will have to wait until after Christmas
Bruce wrote:Also whitelabel sites.

Many cashback sites run branded cashback websites on behalf of large organisations (e.g. VAC run the Mirror cashback website) which typically run on a revenue sharing model. If imutual could run one (or even two) whitelabels on a 50% basis (offering no shares), then this might provide additional revenue for the shareholders. Anyone have any contacts at media companies? :shifty:
We do actually have a couple of white label partners, and have developed some very good software to operate them. Note that business-to-business deals which I have acquired outside of imutual.co.uk would normally be done through imutual worldwide and would not benefit the PLC. But I'm happy to take on white label customers via the PLC where the initial contact has been done by one of our members (we can also offer a 'finders fee' so PM me if you are interested!)

That said, I do know from insider knowledge in the industry that these white labels rarely produce the kind of revenue that you might expect from a 'big brand'. The major players in the cashback market are those that run their own sites with direct memberships. For that reason, we must remain focused on building up the main imutual site and membership; spin-off sites can make sense tactically but we mustn't let these detract from the main objective :)

Instead of 'go to jail' it could be 'go back to RPxxxts'

Bar brief moments I never used R-Points which may account for me being the black sheep of this forum. :)

I am guessing that you mean R-Points and Black Sheep :)

One more quip for today :)

I view Shareholders Sub-Forum a little like Church, sacred to those who believe in it hence me showing my respect for it by not posting in it. :)
