LIke DisneyFan, I don't expect any kind of reward for posting on a forum or for being thanked. A quick thanks if someone answers you question or helps you is just common courtesy, & don't really feel that needs incentivising.

That said, a trial of 'you thank me and I'll thank you' is no worse than a share for posting & only Richard is in the position to know how many extra cashback sales really are driven by any extra forum activity.

Before thi 'Shair-per=poss' was introduced the high number of posts in a month was 700+ish
The V first month after it was 1200+ish
Now stans at 2000+ every month and we are on trac for a new world record this month
So it has maid a dif.
I doubt it will drop V much nowI suspect you will get a lot of posers complanin 'Where's me Dailey Shair?' in FEb

I think it is premature to do away with a scheme that has clearly paid dividends. Why will someone post here when they can post on more prestigious forums?

If it's not broken- don't fix it.

For the record I predict a fall in posts/threads/total forum activity.

I also think that the number of posts will diminish, but like the idea of being paid for being thanked, as it will improve the overall quality of the posts.

TBH, with or without the shares incentive, I only post if I feel if my post is beneficial to the members. IMO think the whole idea of posting is to provide info, bargains, help and assistance,etc to whoever appears to be reading the post.

i personally dont post just to get a share or anything, i just post to help other members out in the forum and post personal views and give thanks to members for when there is links for good offers.

i think the forum posting with go down by a lot if this was to happen

Not reely fair on posters like luke and oggy who never get thank though isit

I dont like the shares for posting, I understand why it was introduced, however, as far as I am concerned it has just devalued all shares earnt through cashback. tbh I feel the same way towards shares for the dailies also.
