R.Y has a large " we will support you ever more" loyal following from his previous cashback sites and carpetbaggers.com site, forum moderators from his R-Points forum are likely to be at least as loyal.

If not an addition to the existing EGM, I would like to see a written statement and above all a commitment from management to an outline for future growth with a timetable, along with a clear marketing strategy and budget before I vote for the proposal put forward embodied in the EGM
Do you mean similar to this viewtopic.php?f=10&t=87460&sid=10ee9ee6 ... cf3be6c278 1 August 2019

I think the major areas of technical development will be:
- Better and more regular email communications
- Initiatives to increase word-of-mouth referrals
- Better mobile experience

Same as old R-Points forum I am thinking most particularly of the "how can we turn things around thread" long forum/post discussions, very little ( if any) difference years later = increasing use of the word "irrelevant" "continued irrelevance" by site members.

How does this affect our accounting practices and sharing of this information?

E.g. I'm a shareholder in several Ltd companies through crowdfunding platforms but none of them send an annual profit-loss account to shareholders. A plc is required to publish this publicly.

Definitely. I was a little miffed when I realised they wouldn't provide this. One of these companies even had the cheek to have another share issue (with shares priced 2.5x the price I paid) but no information about how they got to the company's new valuation, or how much (or little) profit they were making.

That's a very good question,

All companies must prepare annual accounts and reports and must circulate them to all members (=shareholders) (Companies Act 2006 s423). Subject to conditions, electronic circulation/posting on website are permitted. You might want to follow up on this with your crowdfunded investments.

IM has been poor at sharing with members other information on business performance. Will reregistratation as a private company change this?

A private company (as IM will become) does not have to hold an AGM. Although AGMs are, to some extent a formality, posting notice of AGM does give rise to discussion and Q&A. Removing the need for an AGM removes this prompt for discussion, although it does not of itself mean that discussion will not take place.
