I thought they did not want the job? Money cannot be a consideration for them.expressman33 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03 2019 9:36amGet another job

They gave up whatever they were doing in April to stand. As Ms Sarah notes, they could have done as Sinn Fein MPs do - not take their seat and not draw the salary. They could then have continued to do whatever they were doing before.
Well there's your spin: "It's not good news or a sign of faith in the country, it's just not bad news!"pabenny wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03 2019 9:45amBoro Boy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03 2019 9:31amDon't overlook this great auto motive result!!!Boro Boy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03 2019 1:47amGood News for Jaguar Car workers in the Midlands: https://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/mar ... ngham.html
I think to be fair it's an adsence of bad news. Some jobs that weren't particularly under threat aren't being cut. As opposed to the jobs that are being lost as a result of Brexit at Nissan, Honda, Ford, and in the event of no deal, Vauxhall. And their supply chains. And in in local businesses that rely on the factories.
But it's a price worth paying.
So what would you do if you were in their position and your only source of income was as an MEP?pabenny wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03 2019 9:51amThey gave up whatever they were doing in April to stand. And there remains no excuse for the rudeness.

The answer can be repeated ad infinitum. Perhaps we can move on instead of asking the same question time and again.William Joseph1 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03 2019 9:37amI thought they did not want the job? Money cannot be a consideration for them.
Isn't that avoiding a proper answer? Something you lot don't agree with - sound desperately like double standards to me...!?!William Joseph1 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03 2019 12:34pmBoro Boy wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03 2019 12:29pmSo what would you do if you were in their position and your only source of income was as an MEP?pabenny wrote: ↑Wed Jul 03 2019 9:51am

I consider it a perfectly proper answer. Not sure what you mean by "You lot" Cant speak for others but I am an individual with my own independent thoughts.
I would suggest that by asking the above it is you that is avoiding a proper answer.
