If you want a much better indication of trends in how "the people" are feeling try a poll aggregator, such as this one that shows the results of 128 polls right up to September 2019:
https://whatukthinks.org/eu/questions/i ... ve-the-eu/
So the aggregate of polls shows a majority for remain. But the only poll that matters is one when everyone has a voice. And that is why we need a People's Vote once we know the terms of leaving.

Of course the leavers do not want another vote. Could it be because they fear they will lose?

Corbyn is now campaigning on a 2nd referendum ticket.

So now, normal left vs right politics (remember that?) is pitted against leave vs remain politics. The two do not neatly match up out in the real world.

It looks like the election will be Boris and the No Dealers vs Jeremy Corbyn's 2nd Ref. Tune in next month to see who will be top of the pops!

Forget the fact that the way the United States is structured is totally different to the EU and look at the areas of important news which the UK press seems to have totally forgotten about: https://www.france24.com/en/20190907-fi ... 2463152530
I'm glad that we finally agree on something. The EU is not the United States of Europe.

" ...a survey published by The Share Centre...
a) that was from mid-2018 when Mrs May was still PM, the original leave date was still 9 months away and no deal was not considered remotely likely
b) You also omitted to note that the sample covered only 'personal investors' - a term not defined but since the article is about direct purchasers of equities, it probably means a small minority of the population.

The other link in that post is also from June 2018. I think we can all agree that there has been considerable change since then.
It you be foolish to ignore people willing to put there money where there mouth is...

Not only does the linked article not support the description in your post, all it says that some 'personal investors' had (over a year go) switched their preference from remain to leave and smaller number in the other direction. It doesn't tell us anything about their investment intentions.

Talk about twisting facts.... I thought you were against that.

Labour need a much clearer position than that, but are still too conflicted to sort themselves out. If you want the madness to stop, best vote Liberal Democrat.

That said, most voters aren't fortunate enough to live in marginal constituencies, so a lot of votes won't make any difference anyway. Tactical voting could be more important than ever in the upcoming election.
