How many feet?

Post by blythburgh » Tue Jul 09 2019 10:47am

To cut a long story short I went to J D Williams to buy some trainer socks. They had ones that were perfect for what I wanted.

But they were sold in packs of 5. Carefully checked it was 5 socks not 5 pairs.

How many feet do they think their customers have?

I bought 2 packs so I will have 5 pairs as I only have 2 feet not 5 or 2.5 of them

Tell us what arrives.

Bet you the description was written by some numpty and you'll get two packs of five pairs of socks.

Almost certainly. Think I probably would have spoken to them on live chat or emailed before buying to clarify.

I can live with 5 or 10 pairs. The photo was 5 socks as was the write up. So expecting 5 pairs in total and some cashback eventually

All the descriptions say pack of 3 , 5 , 7 ect but this obviously means pairs as some packs are in different designs/colours https://www.jdwilliams.co.uk/shop//_/N- ... 4&type=cmr

eg https://www.jdwilliams.co.uk/shop/pring ... ,size:7-11 says 3 socks , but read the full description and it says "Pringle pack of 3 pairs of plain socks "

You can expect them to be in pairs, as in two - one for each foot.

She's got two left feet so as long as they are all for left feet she will be OK

There's 3 feet in a yard, so that leaves a pair for whoever's not in the yard.

Is this a British yard or an American yard which we would call a garden?
