Why is this a rip-off? There are plenty of pharmacies that do provide free delivery
There is no reason why being elderly and/or housebound should entitle a person to free delivery of medication - medication that is already provided without charge, however much is needed, however costly the medication, and whatever the resources of the patient.

Because they get you signed up to their FREE delivery service and then change the rules and decide to start charging.
Boot's is a rip-off , the free pharmacies are not a rip-off

Anyone who signed up is at liberty to change at any time, for any reason, without penalty.

I fail to see why anyone feels the need to use Boots and pay for it. There are plenty of free services out there. Including some postal services that will take the prescription electronically from the Surgery and deliver two or three days later by Royal Mail. Like any other service if your not happy with it then change the supplier.
Boots have made a commercial decision and in making that they must have taken into account the fact that they would lose some customers in the process. They have never been the cheapest Pharmacy and better services can be had elsewhere.
