Herein lies the problem with the whole Brexit issue - people with access to the internet still believe the absolute tosh delivered by some mendacious individuals, rather than checking for themselves - and actually repost the garbage to infect others. Multiply that by the number who believe it and don't have the ability to check the facts and the number grows.
Without doubt there are those who have objections to the EU due to political or philosophical reasons - and those who see opportunities to profit from the chaos of Brexit - but there are others who still think leaving the EU will "cure" issues which have nothing to do with membership, plus generations poisoned by a hostile UK press and who are happy to believe that the EU is some kind of monster.
When it is pointed out to them that nobody else believes the tosh published in the UK, the suggestion is that these "foreigners" don't know or care about the truth - because, of course, these foreigners are deaf, or blind, or stupid......
Sad.

[a hysterical and long-ago debunked image about the Lisbon Treaty]
expressman, I thought you were better than that.
Please don't embarrass yourself by posting that again. It is as accurate as the £350m claim on the bus and just as widely ridiculed.

Well, good news for Brexit lovers.
It looks like there will be another date on which to officially not celebrate 'Independence Day'. At this rate we'll soon have 1 day every month to not have a Brexit party to mark the lack of occasion.
In an attempt to enliven proceedings and give an added twist at the bookies, this time it's a 'flextension', so could end at any point before 31st January. We don't have to take it down to the wire to find out we're still not leaving - we could do it at any point between then and now.

I don’t know If it’s more commercialised or If I’m just getting old but #BrexitExtensionDay seems to have lost its magic.
I remember when we were kids, gathered around the wireless, nervously wondering what Father Donald Tusk would bring.
Great times.

For what it's worth, "Father Donald Tusk" has a special gift this year, he calls it a "flextension".

Oh wait
I was only invited to a Halloween party.
Anyone get any invites to Brexit and Anti-Brexit parties?
