It is also the case that if there was another referendum the vote would not be along party lines so the vote cannot be defined as easily as you both claim. The great mass of the voting population that make up this Island, Gibraltar and Northern Ireland will make up their minds if and when there is another opportunity. I would be very wary of guessing the result

In the 2019 Euro elections the four Leave parties Labour/Conservative/Brexit/UKIP got 56% of the vote, compared to the 52% that voted Leave in the 2016 referendum.
That's quite a stretch to count Labour as a leave party; no doubt you have a justification for that but it's unrealistic.

We have already had a People's Vote in 2016. Why aren't you prepared to accept that outcome?
Pointless word play, I'm sure you know People's Vote has a specific meaning in 2019. The vote in 2016 was the product of a hard right agenda; there was no broad desire to hold it and the narrow result was obtained through lies, cheating and underhand tactics. Not democratic at all and that's why we're in the current mess. If enough people really did want the UK to leave the EU then it could've happened, but they don't, because it's a really bad idea.

It's the political class in Westminster that are slowing progress on Brexit not The People who gave a clear answer to the stay/Leave vote!

If people have now had enough of politicians maybe they should start listening to experts.

Enough people voted to leave in the referendum to say we should leave but it hasn't happened

Yet not just my opinion. The 27% of the population that voted to leave clearly wasn't "enough" to carry it. The referendum terms should've required a super-majority, a majority of votes in each country, or other sensible safeguards for such an important decision; all of which were opposed on the basis that it was only an advisory referendum.

Then why are we supposed to be leaving ? more voted to leave than to stay !

The great British Public did not vote for a disastrous no deal which is a likely outcome if Johnson and Cummins have their way.

In Scottish referendum 16/17 year olds were given a vote as it would affect their future but to the anger of everyone in that age group I spoke to at the time they were not.

A People's Vote would allow us to vote for what is on other rather than an unknown.

I am prepared to risk a 2nd leave vote which I would respect. Why are the Brexiteers so afraid to do the same?

Maybe you are scared the vote will be stay this time. Despite elections and opinion polls I am totally sure I have no idea which way a People's Vote would go, I do not want one because I think remain will win this time, I want one because it will be a truly democratic vote this time.

But if we get it then the Leave campaign will lie and lie and lie again. And encourage racism. If you do not believe me, only yesterday they called Angela Merkel a kraut and brought the last two world wars.

What purpose is served by blaming him?

Isn't it better to live in a peaceful, amicable and prosperous country?

It's not too late to choose a different path.
