I've had mine.... but I had quite a localised reaction to it, so a nasty few days.
I seem to have become reactive to a lot of things recently - I had my CT scan last Thursday and my reaction to the contrast dye is only just subsiding. Really odd reaction too - deep red swelling across the top of one thigh only
As for the flu jab, I hardly think it's going to be a silver bullet, but at least the common factors of known strains should be covered.... and some protection is better than none. It's a personal decision - but one that could have consequences both for the person involved and the NHS - as it's a lot better than treating full-blown flu.
PS, Raich - sorry to hear about Adam..... but with a suppressed immune system, maybe a flu jab is the least of his problems. Good luck.
