It's everyone else's fault, of course. Yes, this is where we are today:

Who exactly is "the leave alliance" and are their views at all newsworthy?

It's a campaign group; other than that, doesn't seem easy to discover who is behind it or funding it. Their domain registration doesn't even have admin contact details.

Some news organisations are picking up the story:

It's the North's, Richard and Pete.

They are staunch Brexitters and offered some sensible* ways that the UK could have left the EU very early on in the process that would not have left us in the 'get what we're given' state that we've ended up in.

For example:
I do not want to see us pointlessly setting up new institutions to produce regulations almost identical to those of the EU. I do not want to see an end to Europol and I definitely see no value in messing around with long standing areas of cooperation which work about as well as they are ever going to. So we do not seek hostilities with the EU. We will need to moderate our attitudes to it and we will need to push hard to make sure we don't close up shop to Europe.

Loads more on that site too. They are highly articulate and well informed, even if I disagree with them fundamentally. If, as appears likely, Brexit fails then it will be because people didn't listen to those on the "winning" side who actually knew what they were talking about.
