Which? have calculated the of tariffs on imported groceries if we have a no-deal Brexit. They say that average tariff on food imported from the EU is more than 20% - although they do say that prices won't necessarily go up by this amount.
It's worth it, though, for Taking Back Control.

Does that include the extra costs added because of the extra bureaucracy and the waiting times for trucks to get in and out of the country? It all costs but then it was the most easy trade deal ever wasn't it.
If you lie to gain an advantage in any other sphere it would be called fraud and you would be in prison not in power.

Don't be surprised if the UK capitulate and agree a terrible deal sooner or later, then claim it a fantastic "win" on the back of some insignificant concession on fish, or similar. The ongoing price hikes and risk of shortages will still be inevitable unless/until we have access to the single market & customs union on our doorstep with terms equivalent to those we enjoy now... no matter what happens in January the future rUK and EU negotiations might stop making so many headlines but will essentially be endless.
