Boots e-mail just now:
Winter may seem months away - we have summer and long days to enjoy first.
You could be amongst the first customers to be given priority to book a flu jab appointment at a time and place that’s convenient for you.
Yes, Boots. It's May today. We still have 27 days of Spring to enjoy.
Winter seems like months away because it literally is months away. Many months away.

I beg to differ, Sarah, I go by meteorological Spring which ends in on 31st May but agree Winter in many months away. But covid and flu jabs are very important. I know I would not have mildish hearing problems and binocular vision instead of only using one eye at a time if there had been a measles vaccine when I was a baby

I prefer to 1st of month but others prefer to go with the solstices, not worth disagreeing over let alone arguing

That is why I say I prefer 1st of month but not arguing with anyone online or offline if they prefer solstice day.
