The government get to lie about Brexit speeding up authorisation of the vaccine and distract their supporters attention away from the 600+ people that are dying each day under their disastrous mismanagement of the pandemic. These are easy points to score when so much of the media just plays along and they're never held to account in any meaningful way.

Overall most people will benefit as it is an effective vaccine and we can move on with our lives.

Thalidomide was a drug not a vaccine

But was extensively tested for safety before being released and that was a release on commercial grounds. I only hope this rushed vaccine has been better tested but I doubt it

Getting tested, getting vaccinated is not the end. It is just the beginning of the end, there will still be a long road ahead of us
