Boris Johnson wrote:never mind life expectancy, never mind cancer outcomes, look at wage growth
Reminder: The wage growth figure has been skewed higher by depressed wages a year earlier and compositional effects caused by job cuts, etc. It should also be viewed in the context of rising inflation.

I'm sure pay and conditions for HGV drivers have improved, but ultimately I have decided to carry on in my role at an investment bank
41-year-old German, who received a letter from the Department for Transport asking him to consider driving a lorry to help ease the fuel crisis, even if he has not driven one before. :wtf:

Free, independent and fact-based journalism serves to protect against abuse of power, lies and war propaganda.
The Nobel committee awards its peace prize to two investigative journalists, Maria Ressa of the Philippines and Dmitry Muratov of Russia.

That will not include the Sun et al then.

Comedian Rosie Jones has said getting online abuse after appearing on BBC One's Question Time has made her "more determined" to speak up for minorities.
The sad thing is that I'm not surprised at the ableist abuse I've received. It's indicative of the country we live in right now.

"I will keep on speaking up, in my wonderful voice, for what I believe in.

Unfortunately IMO the likes of twit-ter and faceshit encourage this sort of behaviour. I am glad I don't have them. Sometime I think we live in a very sad world. Why people have to treat others so badly I fail to comprehend.
