I can't help but think that this will not help NI move forward very far. Perhaps a blessing that he will not be First Minister.

As does an Taoiseacht, which in one translation, means Leader
Truish, though Taoiseach is generally taken to mean "Chief", since the Tánaiste (Deputy PM) translates as "Heir to the Chief".

Either way, the Taoiseach IS the First Minister equivalent, which yer man doesn't want to be......

Luckily ,he got promoted to Leader of DUPE party from Agriculture Minister before he could force through legislation changing the name of our Dairy Cows to Londonderry Cows. macliam will understand the significance.
