My church runs a summer cafe for a few weeks in the summer. It was announced this morning that £759.94 has been raised. And that was all using cash.

We had a summer fete which raised over £1700 all of it in cash.

Just one church and a few of the events that raise much needed funds and where cash is used. How many churches, schools and even villages this year will be raising funds with fetes, Christmas sales etc. Are they supposed to have a card machine on every stall?

And what about all these people who sell eggs, jams, fruit, veg and flowers from the garden? How do they manage if we go cashless?
Keep smiling because the light at the end of someone's tunnel may be you, Ron Cheneler
