An even bigger question is: should I eat and enjoy or worry about my waistline?

I haven't been able to think of an amusing pun to accompany the Jaffa Cakes story outcome... so I'll quote this sobering tweet instead:

Well interesting comparison.

IMO, It was right that he was sacked. If you cannot trust a policeman. Who can you trust?

However more should be done to deal with the latter. The problem seems to be the underlying culture. This is not exclusive but is nationwide. It needs to be changed and dealt with quickly. I would also say that this culture/way of thinking is not just within Police Forces but very often in society generally.

This is one of those occasions when I would have valued the input of kevinchess1.

I think the reason that more has not been done to root out the cancers within the Police is summed up by those in senior positions explaining what women should know or do in order to avoid becoming the next victim of a rogue Police officer......

This is only one step away from suggesting that women bring such things on themselves by the way they dress, or venturing out of their houses alone - it certainly does nothing to stop the culprits.

For policing by consent to continue, there must be zero tolerance of antisocial activities ...... and that means dismissal of those found culpable, not final warnings or suspension.
