Just to keep us all really happy....

D'you remember all those Mobile companies who swore on their Granny's grave that they had no intention of imposing Roaming chares after Brexit, but then found it was IMPOSSIBLE to retain them.......

Well, those naughty Bureaucrats in Brussels have just announced that Roaming will remain free within the EU for the next 10 YEARS!!!

It's still not done...

"UK explores fourth delay to imposing checks on EU imports"
Downing Street is exploring yet another delay to post-Brexit border checks on goods entering Britain from the EU to prevent what industry has warned would be a supply chain disaster.

Another reason why voting for Brexit was a mistake: Boris Johnson’s government has been warned that some forms of UK trade will “collapse” if further post-Brexit checks are introduced in July.
The Independent revealed earlier this week that the government is exploring a delay to new controls on imports from the EU because of growing alarm over the cost of living crisis.
The Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) checks coming into force on 1 July will see inspections on imported agri-food and plant products, adding an estimated £1bn to the costs of trade.
Shane Brennan, chief executive of the Cold Chain Federation, said the checks would be a “nightmare” for small businesses – calling for the government to push them back.
The food industry chief warned of a potential “collapse” in trade among “small volume” British businesses if the new checks are imposed in the summer.

Now confirmed UK delays Brexit import controls until the end of 2023 (next year, not a typo)!

Did Boris, Farage, Gove, RJM etc all genuinely believe they could just shut the door on the EU and immediately start trading on new rules? Had they given it any thought at all? Surely they weren't just driven by jingoism?
