Not wishing to sound ungrateful, but I don't really find these style of updates helpful - i.e. just a simple update of the share price. When I see that someone has replied to one of these topics, I'm hoping to see a significant development or someone's personal analysis. What do others think?

These are my doing I'm afraid. I think they are helpful for a few reasons:

- the charts and historical progress of the share are helpful to log, to see where we are each week
- I hope that changes from one week to another provide the basis for some active discussion on the share we own
- the outcome of this information and discussion will hopefully provide a degree of insight members can then use to decide their current position for the share, in terms of hold, buy or sell

There was a bit of movement on this share this week before it fell back to the same level as before. There have been some encouraging results from a drilling operation, as detailed here. Jumped the share a fair few percent for a while.
