Member poll: Set an exit price for Bakkavor

Post by garindan » Fri Mar 19 2021 8:47am

Members,

Further to some discussion in the Bakkavor monitoring thread I'd like to canvas members' thoughts on whether we should set an exit price of 120p on our second batch of Bakkavor shares.

120p would seem like a very reasonable and not too greedy price to exit at. I personally don't feel this wholesale food manufacturer is going to set the world on fire in terms of seeing enormous share price growth, so for us to take a very handsome profit and exit happily would seem appropriate at this stage. It would also free up considerable funds to reshape our Club and provide a new investment opportunity for us.

Please do vote ASAP, so we can see if this concept has backing or not.

Thanks to all who voted. As the share rose again today I have placed a limit order for 120p, so we do not miss the boat sailing. If this does come to pass we should be looking at ~£3500 in funds realised from the sale.

Opened at just over 120p this AM but no takers then. Hopeful we'll sneak over the line but we'll just have to wait and see!

Price has not gone over 120p in terms of people buying, it was seemingly just an offer price. A bit of decline early doors today. Hopefully it will have another crack at 120p soon.

Excellent news! Our limit order kicked in this morning and sold 2929 of Bakkavor shares @120.812p, giving us a total of £3538.58 from our original £2000 investment. That's our biggest profit ever! Exceptionally well done to us all
