Member poll: Sell original Pure Gold Mining shares

Post by garindan » Thu Apr 01 2021 2:05pm

Members,

Some poor information has come out of PGM the past 24 hours. It looks like we might have to sit tight for a much longer time to get back to where the share price was or better. It may well be that we should sell the first batch of shares immediately. Hence the poll.

Do vote ASAP as it would be prudent to do this very soon indeed.

Thanks.

I think its prudent to sell some gold, as the world comes out of Covid lock down gold will "probably" drop as stock markets climb.... thats how things used to work in the old order, but with the new normal who knows?

Selling now might be a case of shutting the barn door after the horse has bolted. Price has dropped from £1.74 to 86p since mid-December. It's a very volatile and illiquid stock, but fundamentally still has good prospects

I think you are right. I think it will drop further when the markets open on Tuesday but it will open low, not start high and fall. Therefore I think the best policy here would be to hold tight and await more positive news. It's probably just a hiccup in the production line and once that is sorted out there should be a better output per ton.
