There is no one in management to have a power struggle with, unless Richard is having a struggle with himself. There are enough conspiracy theories in the wider world. No need to introduce them here.

1. Wierd voting patterns in the shareholder's meeting - the two largest shareholders clearly don't agree on the future of the company.
2. The lack of any attention to the site since that point (worse than the usually appalling "normal").
3. The comments made around the forum about 'external' issues. We're a patient and understanding bunch. Why has a simple explanation for the desertion not been given? It would take a minute to do at best.

The most telling one is point 3 - why not just tell us what is going on to reassure us and keep us clicking where possible? Trust in the reliability and viability of the site is pretty much all it has left. So why not post here to imbue that trust?

Not only that, Richard is the de facto controlling shareholder.

In the absence of any contact, people will speculate. It's human nature. And there is only one way to end speculation and that's to come out and put the record straight.

That's a misreading of the situation. According to filings at Companies House, Richard holds 1.2 billion shares in IM and the rest of us 10 million.

Although Richard's shares are, I believe, held for award to users alongside cashback, and he may chose not to vote them, he does control them

And holders of only around 400,000 shares voted at the AGM.

The company belongs to Richard, it would take an seismic event for the shareholders to have any concrete say in the company. Without Richard the company is nothing.

Hmmm.... given that timescale, maybe imutual was invaded by a jealous neighbour and has seen its infrastructure blitzed.....

There's no reason why a simple two paragraph statement could be made to reassure us, though, is there?
Many here are considering no longer spending through the site because of the uncertainty.

No reason at all, but therein lies the problem. it is perfect unbroken circle. Only one person can break it and for whatever reason seems unwilling or unable to do so.

Unfortunately we are unable to do anything about that and because of that most people head towards the door.
