Post by Denant » Thu Jun 14, 2012 7:57 pm

http://www.blood.co.uk/
Can I ask that members of http://www.imutual.co.uk and their families visit the above site and and do something amazing, make an appointment to start or re-start donating, this week is currently national blood week, you will be offered a FREE cup of tea or coffee, squash, biscuits and sometimes crisps !!!

They will check your blood pressure free of charge and make sure you're not anemic...again free of charge.

A staggering 96% of people rely on 4% of people to donate

Please visit http://www.blood.co.uk and pledge an armful in the near future, the site is full of questions and answers that you may have.

A pint? That's very nearly an armful!

Showing my age there!

Of listening to Radio 4 extra.

I weigh too much to give blood.

But sadly due to previous health probs I was told my blood could not be used. But thankfully I am a common blood type so my armful is less valuable than some other armful. But every drop is very important. Blood does not keep, it has to be used within a certain time. So please give. Someone else's arm will be very grateful.
