My crystal ball has told me "life will happen and spoil your plans so always have something to fall back on"

Make sure you don't fall on the crystal ball

RIP TSM.
Worrying trend or just the usual ups & downs?
Either way imutual need to wean our dependence on daily clicks. Much like MBS is doing in Saudi Arabia and it's phenomenal oil wealth.

Rubbish, just because you are not interested don't knock them. Without the daily clicks imutual would not be half of what it is at the moment. Its the daily clicks that have bought the people in. They surely don't come for the pitiful rates on offer compared to the very often better rates at other sites.

Or to turn it round, what will happen to IM with few daily clicks?

You will do well for yourself to read what I wrote and try to understand what I was saying. I've written it in simpler terms below:
Whilst imutual has good income from daily clicks Richard should diversify our dependence on daily clicks so if they are no longer an income stream then imutual will prosper nonetheless.
In a similar vein to what the juggernaut Saudi Aramco is doing:
Whilst Saudi Aramco has good income from oil MBS should diversify his dependence on oil so if it is no longer an income stream then Saudi Aramco will prosper nonetheless.
If you are thinking why we should take lessons from Saudi Aramco and MBS then have a read of this article from highly respected The Wall Street Journal:

Now, now children.

The comparison with Aramco is something of a stretch given their scale and strength. Nevertheless, it's true that IM has been very dependent on daily clicks for traffic as much as revenue. With there now being so few, the future of IM does not look bright.

A bit like saying I want chocolate that does not add inches to the waistline. It might be there but to recognise it for guilt free chocolate and more importantly where to find it. The trick is to find it in the first place
